The Mission from Nixon
The Mission. Ultra-Rugged and Waterproof. The World's First Action Sports Smartwatch Powered by Google Android Wear™ from Nixon on Vimeo.
Early this morning I decided I was going to check on smartwatches that would be releasing this year, so I didn't end up buying a smartwatch with a newer model right around the corner. I stumbled upon a few rumoured releases and a few confirmed releases; The Mission being one of the latter. For me this is great because I've owned a few Nixon watches over the years and have been looking to make my first Android Wear purchase.
Most of the information on the watch can be found here and if you do some quick searches online. The information and specifications that I've seen so far have impressed me. This watch is definitely not for everyone, but I spend a lot of time outside for work and running, so this watch should come in pretty useful for my daily activities. For the record, the other Android Wear watch I was looking at was the Motorola 360 Second Generation, but given how much I like Nixon this is a definite buy for me.
What do you all think of this watch so far? What wearables are you using? Let me know.
