L37 Letterman/Varsity Jackets 2011 [Photos]

I spent a few hours on the weekend talking to a good friend about a line of clothing she has been working on over the last few years. She has not only done Letterman/Varsity Jackets (most recently), but hoodies, t-shirts, accessories, and more in the past. She will continue to put more things out as she is blessed with the ideas. The reason I really took to what she is working on, is because there is a deep meaning behind what she's putting out. It's more than just fashion, it's about a lifestyle, awareness, and development of people.

To start, the name of the line L37, pronounced "L Triple 7", or "L Tre(s) 7" is broken down as follows:

"L stands for Loyalty. 3 and 7 are Holy numbers. 7 stands for completion; meaning the perfect end." 

"L37 therefore stands for, 'Triple Loyalty to Tha End'."  

There is a lot more to learn about the line, but once you make a purchase of one of these jackets the story will be delivered. Even if you don't buy one of the jackets, and get to meet the owner of the company she will definitely be happy to tell you what it's all about, and her vision. The best way to see what is going on with the company for now, for you Facebook users, is do a search for "L37", or "L Tres Seven".

The jackets are a wool body, with leather sleeves. The pictures are a good visual, but these are something you really have to see for yourselves. Also, of the three colour combinations available, the jackets are available with, or without a hood.
