Uber and The Sharing Economy

We are now in a new age where everyone is becoming more enterprising. Part of this is because of advancements with technology and part is from people looking for a need to be filled. The great thing about the internet and access to it on the go, is the ability to have access to just about anything we need within minutes.

According to Investopedia, the sharing economy is "an economic model in which individuals are able to borrow or rent assets owned by someone else". To widen this definition, this also extends to services offered by other people. You have the big names out there like Uber, Airbnb and Taskrabbit. This model is great because it is helping connect people and helping people earn extra income at the same time. I personally use Uber and am also an Uber Partner. I have friends that use Airbnb regulary when they travel and I will be doing my homework on Taskrabbit.

Of the companies out there within the sharing economy, which are you using regularly? What do you like and or dislike about them?
